i have a set up a space where i can comfortably do my reviews.

school starts the 18th and i have 2 mandatory reading books to read to bear with me.

omg omg omg! i'm going on hiatus, i know that i just started but with the moving and everything, i know that i won't be able to post every day like i want to.
my internets getting cut off in 2 days, and after that idk how long i'll have to wait before we settle in our new house and get internet again.
i will be back either very late july or early august.
and i will have tons of new products because i have to get a wholeeeeeeeee lot
of stuff for my school shopping.

maybelline shadow stylist review

this loose powdered eyeshadow comes in 12 colors and costs $6.49 at walgreens.
i have the black one.
i have a lot of black, i know.
i think its the worst eyeshadow ever.
the sponge tip applicator works like an applicator and eraser at the same time!
i mean come on! its the same type of applicator that's an eraser on other eyeliners.
wheres the logic in that?
on my skin it did not stick at all, but when i applied the base that came with my hard candy bling bling glitter, it stuck on and looked pretty nice.


sorry for the darkness, i tried a new setting and it did not work.

pros: lots of colors to choose from

cons: goes everywhere, applicator is horrid.

price: $6.49 at walgreens.

value 1-5: 1.8

recommend: not unless you have a base to put on under.

everyone knows that drugstores have more affordable makeup than department stores,
but most people don't know that drugstores aren't the only cheap place to get makeup.

the drugstore that i find has the most affordable makeup is rite aid.
they have sales almost every week!
sure, cvs and walgreens have the occasional sale, but every single week rite aid has at least one makeup label that is buy one get one 50% off or buy one get one free.
whether its maybelline or l'oreal, there's always a sale.
you can check your local rite aid circular.
they also have unadvertised specials
they're currently having a "stock up sale"
all covergirl cosmetics buy one get one 50% off
olay skin and bath care buy one get one 50% off
conair headbands or wraps buy one get one 50% off
maybelline face and eye makeup selection buy one get one 50% off
revlon super lustrous lipstick or 3d mascara buy one get one free
l'oreal eyeshadow, eyeliner, or mascara buy one get one free
l'oreal nail or lip color buy one get one 50% off

at cvs,
if you buy a cosmetic product and you don't like it, just return it with your receipt and they give you a full refund.

at department stores like marshall and tj maxx,
you can always be sure to find a great deal on cosmetics and hair products.
they carry higher end cosmetics for drugstore prices:
like lancome, kls, sephora, smashbox, and urban decay to name a few.

i recommend not buying makeup from the beauty supply.
the one brand i've tried is wild and crazy and it was the worst $5 i've ever spent (on 2 eyeliners)

l'oreal telescopic mascara review

this mascara comes in 3 colors: blackest black, black, black brown.

that isn't really a large selection but i don't mind, i'm reviewing the black.

the brush is really different from others, it doesn't have hairs, it's more plastic.

pros: easy to grip handle, doesn't clump, adds length

cons: doesn't add volume.

price: $8.99 at walgreens not the cheapest, it's at the top of the price spectrum for a teen budget.

value 1-5: this mascara is a 4.3

recommend: yes.
